Hall logged a full non-participant on the Jets' quad report while Jackson was limited with an ankle — here's what it means for your Week 7 lineups.

A DNP Wednesday means track Thursday and Friday before locking him in.

Key numbers
  • Hall: DNP Wednesday with a quad injury
  • Hall has 43 PPR pts through 3 games (2026)
  • Jackson limited in practice with an ankle
  • Mayfield full participant despite thumb (2 TD, 2026)
  • Patriots lost Romeo Dobbs to IR (shoulder)

The biggest fantasy flag off Wednesday's Week 7 report is in New York, where Jets running back Breece Hall didn't practice at all thanks to a quad issue. A non-participant on the first injury report of the week isn't a death sentence, but it's a start-the-conversation moment for a back who's carried your lineups through three games. Hall's sitting on 43 PPR points for the 2026 season — 163 rushing yards and a score on the ground, plus 10 grabs for 102 through the air.

The other name managers care about is Lamar Jackson. The Ravens quarterback was limited in practice with an ankle injury, which is a step up from not practicing at all and generally reads as precautionary this early in the week. Limited-then-plays is the usual trajectory for a player of his status, but ankle problems for a rushing QB are always worth a second look before kickoff.

Thursday Night Notes

The week opens with New England at Chicago, Drake Maye against Caleb Williams. The Patriots got A.J. Brown back last week but lost depth — Romeo Dobbs went to IR with a shoulder, and corner Carlton Davis (neck) misses another game while tackle Morgan Moses (foot) is questionable. Brown's quiet so far, with just 6 catches for 53 yards and no touchdowns across two 2026 games, good for only 11 PPR points.

Chicago already ruled out running back Kyle Monangai and linebacker Jack Sanborn, with DB Tyrique Stevenson (hip) questionable and linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) doubtful. Williams, meanwhile, is cruising — 712 passing yards, 3 TDs, zero picks, plus 110 rushing yards and two scores on the ground, totaling 64 PPR points over three games (2026). He checks in at QB5 and overall #11 in our rankings.

The Fantasy Fallout

One piece of good news: Baker Mayfield was a full participant despite the right thumb that's been lingering. Full practice is the cleanest signal you can get, so the Bucs QB — 39 PPR points and QB12 in our rankings for 2026 — is fully in play. Mayfield managers can breathe easy.

Hall is the one to monitor. He's RB19 in our rankings and far too valuable to bench reflexively off a single Wednesday DNP, but you need a contingency plan. Check whether he upgrades to limited Thursday, and have a flex or handcuff ready if Friday's report stays red. Jackson stays a confident start unless the ankle backslides — treat his limited tag as noise for now, not news.
