The Browns tidied up their depth Tuesday, signing cornerback Noah Igbinoghene to the 53-man roster and adding a handful of names to the practice squad. Igbinoghene, cut by the Seahawks on Sunday after a preseason audition, brings real snaps: 32 games and 12 starts for the Commanders across the last two seasons, plus 35 tackles and a sack in 2025.
To make room, Cleveland placed defensive tackle Kalia Davis on injured reserve and waived corner Michael Coats. The practice squad additions include DT Sam Kamara, TE Messiah Swinson, DT Chris Williams, and — the one fantasy managers should file away — running back Jaleel McLaughlin.
For anyone streaming NFL defenses, the Igbinoghene move barely moves the needle. He's depth insurance at corner, not a coverage weapon who suddenly changes how you view Cleveland's D/ST. Nice for the locker room, irrelevant for your lineup.
The McLaughlin Angle
