Zach Charbonnet

Full practice, clear backfield, prime-time matchup — fire him up.

Key numbers
  • Charbonnet full participant Wednesday, cleared from torn ACL
  • Rookie Jadarian Price out since Week 3 (14 PPR pts, 3 games)
  • Guard Anthony Bradford expected back off IR
  • Walker III: 665 rush yds, 6 TD, 138 PPR pts in 5 games (2026)
  • Lock (right elbow) and Shaheed (hip) both limited Wednesday

The best news on Seattle's Week 7 injury report is a running back finally getting the green light. Zach Charbonnet was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and looks like a lock to suit up against the Chiefs on Sunday night, wrapping up a long rehab from the torn ACL he suffered during last year's playoff run.

His timing could hardly be better. Rookie Jadarian Price went down back in Week 3 and the Seahawks' ground game has been limp ever since — Price managed just 119 rushing yards and 14 PPR points across his three games this season (2026). Charbonnet steps into a backfield that's been begging for a pulse.

The Supporting Cast

The rest of the offense checked in as limited but trending the right way. Starting guard Anthony Bradford is working back from a short IR stint and is expected to play, which matters with rookie Beau Stephens also limited Wednesday. Quarterback Drew Lock (right elbow) and wideout Rashid Shaheed (hip) were both limited too — Lock's a name to watch given the noise around Sam Darnold's turnovers, though Lock has posted just 34 PPR points over two appearances this season (2026) and is running 8.5 points below his season average over his last five.

The defensive picture is uglier. Four linebackers landed on the report, and three of them — Drake Thomas (ankle), Connor O'Toole (hamstring) and Chazz Surratt (calf) — didn't practice at all. Backup Tyrice Knight was limited with an oblique. That's a thin, banged-up front seven heading into a brutal assignment.

Why That Linebacker Room Matters

The man on the other side is Kenneth Walker III, the ex-Seahawk now carrying the Chiefs backfield. Walker has been excellent: 665 rushing yards, six rushing scores and 138 PPR points through five games this season (2026), good enough for our No. 9 overall ranking and No. 4 among running backs. A depleted Seattle linebacker corps is exactly the kind of matchup that keeps him locked into every lineup.

Fantasy bottom line: start Zach Charbonnet with confidence. A full practice, a cleared ACL, an open backfield with Price shelved, and a prime-time stage make him a plug-and-play flex at worst. Walker III stays a must-start RB1 against a linebacker group missing half its depth. Keep an eye on the Lock situation, but with his cold recent form there's no reason to chase it yet — this is a wait-and-see.
