Ashton Jeanty Questionable vs. Patriots With Ankle, Foot Issues

Jeanty didn't practice Friday after a foot injury joined his ankle problem. He's traveling with the team, so this one goes to the wire.

DNP Friday with two injuries — confirm active before you lock him in.

Key numbers
  • Questionable Sunday with ankle + foot injuries
  • DNP Friday after limited Thursday, full Wednesday
  • Just 264 rush yds, 3.4 YPC through 4 games
  • 74 PPR pts, our RB11 in 2026 so far
  • Nailor, Thornton, Zuhn all ruled out for Vegas

Raiders rookie Ashton Jeanty is officially questionable for Sunday's trip to New England, with both an ankle and a newly added foot injury on the report. His week trended the wrong way: full participation Wednesday, limited Thursday, then a no-show Friday. That's not the practice progression you want to see 48 hours before kickoff.

Head coach Josh Kubiak didn't get into specifics on the foot, but he did confirm Jeanty will travel with the team — which at least keeps the door open. Kubiak said Jeanty is going to do his best to go. Through four games Jeanty has 264 rushing yards on a lean 3.4 per carry, plus 19 catches for 165 yards and two scores. That's 74 PPR points, enough to sit as our RB11 on the season, mostly on volume rather than efficiency.

The Rest Of The Vegas Picture

The Raiders are shorthanded in the passing game. Receivers Jalen Nailor (concussion) and Dont'e Thornton (hamstring) are both out, as is guard Trey Zuhn (knee). On the plus side, tight end Brock Bowers (knee) cleared the report and is slated to play, along with linemen Spencer Burford and Jackson Powers-Johnson and a handful of others.

Bowers being good to go matters. With Nailor and Thornton sidelined, Vegas leans even harder on Bowers (16 catches, 202 yards, two TDs over two games in 2026) and whatever Jeanty can give them. If Jeanty is limited or inactive, expect the Raiders to funnel targets to Bowers and dink-and-dunk their way through a thin receiver room.

The Fantasy Call

Jeanty managers are stuck in the worst spot: a talented back you drafted high, now a Friday DNP with two injuries. Don't bench him blindly, but have a pivot ready and check inactives at 90 minutes before kickoff. A back who hasn't topped 3.4 YPC and is now nursing an ankle and a foot isn't someone you gamble a roster spot on sight unseen.

If you've got a reliable flex alternative, treat Jeanty as a game-time WATCH and be prepared to swap. Bowers, meanwhile, is a confident start given the receiver injuries around him — he's the safer Raider to trust this week.
