Bo Nix Fuels Broncos Comeback: Two TDs, Two Conversions Tie Rams 16-16
Nix hit Adkins and Bryant for scores and added two 2-point conversions to erase a deficit — but the fantasy story is who caught them.

Bo Nix dragged Denver back into this one the hard way. Two touchdown passes plus two successful two-point conversions knotted the Broncos and Rams at 16-16 with 2:15 to go in the third quarter, capped by an 8-yard strike to Nate Adkins and a jump-ball conversion to Pat Bryant.
The Broncos didn't score at all until the second half, and the swing was built on grind rather than explosion. Rookie Kolbe Katsis flipped the field with a 28-yard punt return to the Rams' 42 in his regular-season debut, and Denver converted four third downs on the drive — including a third-and-goal that Nix turned into a 5-yard TD to Bryant. Jaylen Waddle hauled in the first two-point try in the back of the end zone.
A special teams gift set up the tying score. Emmanuel Forbes drew an unsportsmanlike conduct flag after being pushed out of bounds and not returning to the field, forcing a Rams re-kick that handed Denver the ball at its own 48 instead of the 10. Waddle's 14-yard end around and a 12-yard grab by Tyler Badie put the Broncos in the red zone before Nix found Adkins and then Bryant again.

This is the frustrating kind of Broncos box score. Nix is spreading it around — Adkins, Bryant, Waddle and Badie all touched the scoring plays — which is great for the offense and maddening for anyone counting on a single receiver. Nix himself remains a QB1-adjacent asset; he's our No. 22 overall and No. 11 at the position after posting 3,931 passing yards, 25 TDs and 299 PPR points last season (2025, actual).
Waddle is the name managers care about most, and his usage here (a rushing gain plus a conversion catch) fits the muddy trend. He's our No. 67 overall, No. 22 at receiver, coming off 64 catches for 910 yards and 6 TDs in 2025 (actual) — but his last five games ran 3.6 fantasy points below his season average. Bryant, meanwhile, is quietly heating up: he's been 3.8 points above his 2025 average over his last five, and he was the one Nix trusted twice inside the 10.
Also monitor RJ Harvey, who's being evaluated for a concussion — a backfield opening could shift touches to Badie down the stretch.
The verdict: hold Nix as a matchup-based QB1 and don't overreact to the touchdown lottery. Bryant is a deep-league dart worth watching if the red-zone role sticks, while Waddle managers should temper expectations until the target share firms up.
