Colts Sign Roydell Williams, Kick the Tires on Two More RBs
Indianapolis added Alabama product Roydell Williams and worked out Marcus Major and ex-Seahawk Kenny McIntosh — none of them move the fantasy needle yet.

Deep-league dart only if he lands a Colts roster spot.
- Williams: 1,264 college rush yds, 4.6 YPC, 13 TDs
- McIntosh ranks #384 overall, #86 RB in our model
- McIntosh: 22 PPR pts across 20 career games
- Major logged 242 rush yds in 8 UFL games in 2025
- Colts worked out three RBs Thursday and Friday
The Colts signed running back Roydell Williams and, per reporting from Indianapolis, worked out two more backs across Thursday and Friday. Williams is a 5'10", 214-pound former Alabama and Florida State product who piled up 1,264 rushing yards on 275 carries (4.6 per pop) with 13 touchdowns in college, plus 28 catches for 217 yards and two scores. He was also part of Alabama's 2020 national title team.
The workout list didn't stop there. Indianapolis also brought in Marcus Major — a 5'11", 213-pounder who ran for 242 yards and three scores on 43 carries in eight UFL games with the Houston Gamblers last season — and Kenny McIntosh, a 6'0" back fresh off a Super Bowl LX ring with Seattle.
McIntosh is the most recognizable name of the bunch. He spent 2023 through 2025 with the Seahawks and, before that, won two national titles at Georgia. His NFL production is thin: 31 carries for 172 rushing yards and three catches for 22 yards across 20 career games.
What This Actually Means
Let's be blunt: this is depth churn, not a fantasy event. Signing one back and auditioning two others in August is exactly what you'd expect from a team stocking its camp and practice squad. None of these three walks into a defined role in Indianapolis, and the Colts' backfield pecking order isn't being rewritten by a UFL workout.
The one profile worth even a glance is McIntosh. In our model he sits at #384 overall and #86 among running backs, with 22 PPR points to his name in 2024 (17 games) — barely a blip. His form trend is the only mild positive: he averaged +2.8 fantasy points above his season baseline over his last five games. That's noise on a tiny sample, not a signal.
The Fantasy Verdict
For redraft and season-long managers, ignore all three names for now. Williams is a signing, not a starter, and the McIntosh/Major workouts are just tire-kicking. If you play in a 20-team dynasty or a deep best-ball format, keep McIntosh on a mental watchlist in case he sticks and injuries thin the Colts' room — otherwise there's nothing here to add. Wait and see who's on the actual roster before spending a bench spot.
