Limited two straight days — track Friday's status before locking lineups.

Key numbers
  • Waddle limited Thursday with chest injury
  • Harvey (knee) new to report, also limited
  • Waddle: 62 PPR pts in 7 games (2026)
  • Harvey: 67 PPR pts in 6 games (2026)
  • Hufanga (ankle) only player held out

Jaylen Waddle practiced Thursday as a limited participant, nursing the chest injury that sidelined him entirely Wednesday. The issue is a preexisting one he aggravated falling on a loose ball after a botched reverse in last Sunday's win over the Cardinals — a playcall Sean Payton himself labeled awful afterward. For fantasy managers, the headline is simple: Waddle's on the field, just not at full speed.

He wasn't alone in the limited bucket. Running back RJ Harvey (knee) was a new addition to Thursday's report, joining Waddle and defensive tackle Zach Allen (hamstring), who returned to work after both got banged up against Arizona. Allen said after the game the hamstring wasn't serious, which is the kind of quote that matters more to the Broncos' defense than your flex spot.

Where the Roster Sits

Left tackle Garret Bolles (hip) and safety Brandon Jones (hamstring) were limited for a second straight day. Safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) was the lone player held out entirely and has now missed the last two games. On the brighter side, cornerback Pat Surtain II (ankle) was a full participant for the second day running despite missing three games, with Marvin Mims (ankle), Karene Reid (elbow) and Malcolm Roach (neck) all full.

The Fantasy Fallout

Neither offensive piece you care about is cooking right now. Waddle has managed just 62 PPR points across seven games this season (2026), good for only WR43 and #129 overall in our rankings — pedestrian for a receiver carrying his name recognition. Harvey has been quietly steadier: 67 PPR points in six games (2026), one rushing TD and one receiving score, sitting at RB27 and #108 overall in our model.

Harvey's workload gives him a modest floor even on a tweaked knee, so he profiles as a bye-week flex if he clears Friday. Waddle is the trickier call — a limited chest injury he's already aggravated once is worth sweating, and the WR43 production doesn't scream must-start anyway.

Bottom line: watch both through Friday's practice. If Harvey upgrades to full, flex him with confidence; if Waddle stays limited or trends backward, have a bench receiver ready and don't force him into your lineup on faith alone.
