Jadarian Price Returns to Practice as Seahawks' RB Room Thins Out
The rookie back rejoined Seattle's walkthrough three days out from the preseason opener — but Emanuel Wilson just went down grabbing his upper leg.

Jadarian Price is trending the right way. The Seahawks rookie, sidelined since last Friday with what the team is calling lower body soreness, rejoined Seattle's Wednesday walkthrough — an ACT (alignment, communication, technique) session that's lighter than a full practice but still a real step forward with the preseason opener against Dallas just three days out.
That's the good news. Price got some light work in on a side field Tuesday and was back in the fold Wednesday, though whether he actually makes his NFL debut Saturday against the Cowboys is still up in the air. Seattle has every reason to bring a rookie back slowly this early in August.
The bad news arrived on the same field. Emanuel Wilson — who'd been running with the starters across the last four practices while Price recovered — pulled up after a catch-and-run late Tuesday, grabbing his upper leg and going down for a trainer. He couldn't even manage the ACT work Wednesday, which tells you plenty about how the Seahawks are treating it.
The Depth Chart Domino
String the injuries together and the picture gets messy fast. If Price is held out as a precaution, Wilson can't go, and Jacardia Wright stays hobbled, Seattle's backfield Saturday could be a committee of George Holani, Velus Jones Jr., TJ Harden and Justin Jones. Assuming Holani is as central to the plan as expected, it's those last three who'd end up chewing through most of the touches.
The Fantasy Read
None of these names carry redraft weight right now. Wilson is our RB49 (No. 206 overall) after posting 496 rushing yards, three scores and 93 PPR points across 17 games in 2025 — and his form was already down 1.7 fantasy points per game over his last five outings that season. Holani sits way back at No. 414 (RB90) on just 15 PPR points in 11 games in 2025, and Wright is unranked after a single-game cameo.
For fantasy managers, treat Price as a pure watch. His return to practice is encouraging and the RB room ahead of him is suddenly banged up, but a rookie easing back from soreness with no confirmed debut isn't a Week 1 add. Bookmark him, monitor whether he suits up Saturday, and let the depth-chart chaos shake out before you spend anything. Wilson, meanwhile, is a hold-at-best deep-league dart until we know the severity.
