Jefferson, Addison Both Questionable for Vikings vs. Saints
Justin Jefferson (ankle) and Jordan Addison (hamstring) are both game-time calls Sunday, leaving Minnesota's WR room in flux.

Lock him into lineups, but have a pivot ready before Sunday inactives.
- Jefferson limited all week with an ankle issue
- Addison missed Wednesday, limited Thu/Fri (hamstring)
- Jefferson: 43 PPR pts in 3 games (2026)
- Addison: 33 PPR pts in 4 games (2026)
- OBJ added to practice squad as insurance
Minnesota headed into the weekend with both of its top receivers listed as questionable for Sunday against the Saints. Justin Jefferson (ankle) was limited in practice every day this week, while Jordan Addison (hamstring) sat out Wednesday before logging limited sessions Thursday and Friday. If you're rostering either, Sunday's inactive report just became appointment viewing.
The numbers say both matter a lot. Jefferson has racked up 43 PPR points across three games this season (2026) and sits at WR18 in our rankings — a clear weekly starter. Addison, through four games this season (2026), has posted 33 PPR points and lands at WR44, firmly in the flex conversation. Losing either shifts the math on your Week 6 lineup.
Kevin O'Connell didn't tip his hand. He said the Vikings are still sorting through what the receiver picture looks like and will make the call Saturday based on how Jefferson and Addison respond. He added that the whole room — rostered players and practice squad alike — has been prepped to handle just about anything.
The OBJ Factor
Minnesota signed Odell Beckham Jr. to the practice squad this week, and he's the obvious elevation candidate if one or both starters can't go. The catch: OBJ sits at WR164 in our rankings with zero PPR points over three games this season (2026). Even if he suits up, he's a deep-league dart throw at best, not a reliable plug-and-play. If both Jefferson and Addison play, Beckham likely never sees the field.
The supporting cast is thinning out too. Left tackle Christian Darrisaw (concussion) and corner Charles Demmings (hamstring) are ruled out. Tackle Brian O'Neill (knee), center Michael Jurgens (elbow) and tight end Ben Yurosek (ankle) are all questionable — Yurosek being a non-factor for fantasy anyway at TE30 with just 3 PPR points last season (2025). Punter Brett Thorson is off the report and good to go.
The Fantasy Call
Keep Jefferson in your lineups and treat him as a tentative start — a limited-all-week tag usually points toward playing, but don't let the inactive report catch you off guard. Addison is the dicier one; if he's out, you need a bench flex ready to go. OBJ is a stash-only, watch-list name — don't burn a waiver claim expecting production. Bottom line: have a Plan B locked before kickoff, because this one could flip Saturday.
