Raiders Add Veteran DT Folorunso Fatukasi to Reinforce the Line
Las Vegas signed the eight-year vet after an injury-shortened 2025. He's a run-stuffer, not a stat sheet you draft in IDP leagues.

The Raiders added some interior beef this weekend, signing veteran defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi on Saturday. The eight-year pro spent the last two seasons in Houston, where he started 12 of the 15 games he suited up for, before a 2025 injury limited him to just four appearances and a single start.
There's a wrinkle here: Fatukasi knows Vegas's upcoming opponent well. His most productive recent stretch came in 2024, when he started all 11 games he played for one of the league's better defenses, logging 24 combined tackles, four tackles for loss, three quarterback hits and a sack. That's a solid run-defending line, but it's not the kind of production that lights up a box score.
The résumé is long and unglamorous. A sixth-round Jets pick in 2018, the UConn product started 15 games for New York in 2021, then spent two seasons in Jacksonville before being cut in March 2024. Across 90 career games and 60 starts, he's piled up 195 tackles, 7.0 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, 24 quarterback hits and seven passes defended — the profile of a rotational anchor, not a disruptor.
Where He Fits
Klint Kubiak's Raiders typically run a base 3-4, which means only one true defensive tackle on the field at a time. Maxx Crosby — back in Silver and Black after a trade to Baltimore fell through — does the pass-rushing damage despite his linebacker label. Fatukasi lands behind Adam Butler and Benito Jones on the depth chart, so he'll have to earn snaps as camp rolls on.
The Fantasy Fallout
For IDP managers, this one barely registers. A single-DT scheme caps snaps, and Fatukasi's career sack rate (7.0 over eight seasons) tells you tackles-for-solo-tackles leagues won't reward him much either. He's a two-down run defender whose value to the Raiders is durability and depth, not splash plays.
Bottom line: leave him on the wire. Unless he vaults up the depth chart or an injury opens a full-time role, there's no IDP scoring case here. Keep an eye on Crosby's usage and Butler's health instead — those are the Raiders front-seven names worth your roster spot.
