Matthew Stafford is climbing the all-time ledger, and he did it in style Monday night. His 10-yard touchdown toss to Kyren Williams — career TD No. 425 — moved him into a tie with Philip Rivers for sixth on the all-time list while staking the Rams to a 14-0 lead with 11:07 left in the first half.
It was Stafford's second scoring pass of the night. The first was a 31-yard connection with Davante Adams in the opening quarter. He nearly hit Adams again for a second score, ripping a 64-yard completion before Giants safety Jevon Holland dragged Adams down at the 14-yard line. Adams remains the primary beneficiary. He caught 60 balls for 789 yards and a monster 14 touchdowns in 14 games last season (2025), and he's our WR9 at #44 overall. The early strike plus that 64-yard bomb show the connection is humming — he's a locked-in WR1 whenever Stafford is under center.
Don't sleep on Williams either. His goal-line role turned a 10-yard reception into six points here, and he's coming off a 263 PPR-point campaign (2025) as our RB9 (#29 overall). That receiving usage inside the red zone is what separates him from touch-dependent backs.
Bottom line: nothing to overthink. Stafford is a set-and-forget QB1 with weapons who both score, Adams is a weekly WR1, and Williams keeps earning goal-line touches. Start all three and enjoy the milestone chase.
