Zay Flowers

If active, he's a locked-in WR2 in a plus matchup.

Key numbers
  • Flowers: 5 catches, 150 yards, TD in Week 1
  • Sat out Week 2, limited practice Friday
  • Ravens rank Flowers #7 among WRs in our model
  • Ronnie Stanley (toe) ruled OUT
  • Hendrickson, Madubuike, Buchanan all cleared

Zay Flowers is officially questionable for Baltimore's matchup with the Cowboys, and if you rostered him you already know the sting. He didn't suit up in Week 2 and managed only a limited practice Friday, so there's real doubt about whether he takes the field this week.

That matters because Flowers is one of the more explosive receivers in the league when healthy. He torched defenders for five catches, 150 yards and a touchdown in the season opener, the kind of ceiling game that makes him a weekly must-start. In our model he checks in at WR7 and #34 overall, and over the last five games of last year he averaged 5.8 fantasy points above his season baseline.

The Rest of the Injury Report

The Ravens aren't just sweating their top wideout. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley was ruled out with a toe injury that kept him from practicing all week, despite coach Jesse Minter suggesting earlier in the day that Stanley might be a game-time call. Losing your blindside protector against a Dallas pass rush is not the setup you want.

There's better news elsewhere. Defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and linebacker Teddye Buchanan (knee) will make their 2026 debuts, both practicing fully all week with no injury designation. Edge rusher Trey Hendrickson also returned to full participation Friday after a finger issue and carries no designation into Sunday.

For the numbers that matter: Flowers finished 2025 with 86 catches for 1,211 yards and five scores, plus another 62 yards and a touchdown on the ground, good for 243 PPR points across 17 games. That's genuine WR2 production with WR1 spike weeks baked in.

The play here is simple but nervy. If Flowers is active, start him without a second thought — the matchup and target share justify it. Just don't leave him locked in blind. Check the inactives roughly 90 minutes before kickoff and have a bench flex or streamer warming up in case the toe-heavy Ravens O-line and his own limited week force a late scratch.
