Ashton Jeanty Scores Twice as Raiders Handle Dolphins 27-13

Ashton Jeanty didn't need a monster carry total to win his fantasy managers the week. The Raiders back scored twice through the air in Las Vegas's 27-13 handling of the Dolphins, hauling in a pair of 13-yard touchdown passes from Kirk Cousins. That's the kind of dual-threat line that turns a solid RB into a weekly cheat code.
For context, this is the same rookie who ripped off 138 rushing yards against the Bears in his fourth game as a 2025 first-rounder, then went for 188 total yards on the Texans back on Dec. 21. He finished last season (2025) with 975 rushing yards, five rushing scores, 55 catches for 346 yards and five receiving TDs — good for 245 PPR points and a spot as our RB11.
Cousins did just enough, going 21-of-30 for 160 yards with three touchdowns against two picks. His first score found Jack Bech from 15 yards out before he leaned on Jeanty for the other two. Not efficient, but with rookie No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza on the bench, Cousins keeps buying himself time under center.
The Defense Won This One
The Vegas front made life miserable for Malik Willis, sacking him five times and forcing two turnovers while capping Miami at 259 yards. Kwity Paye stacked six tackles, two sacks and four QB hits, Maxx Crosby chipped in 1.5 sacks, and rookie safety Treydan Stukes grabbed an interception. Nakobe Dean added a sack and two tackles for loss.
Miami's offense never got rolling. De'Von Achane was bottled up for just 36 yards on 11 carries, adding four catches for 30 yards — a brutal box score for anyone who paid up for him. Willis kept it competitive with 220 passing yards and a team-high 39 rushing yards, but a lone interception and constant pressure sank any comeback.
The Fantasy Fallout
Jeanty is the clear takeaway here. The receiving usage isn't a fluke — it's a designed piece of his game, and it gives him a floor even on days the ground yards don't come. Buy him if a nervous manager in your league is undervaluing the RB11 tag from last year; the ceiling is higher than that rank suggests. Achane owners should hold and chalk this up to a tough matchup, but Bech (our WR115) and Cousins remain streamer-tier at best.
Bottom line: Jeanty is a locked-in start with league-winning upside, and now's the window to acquire him before the price catches up.
