Tyler Warren

TE6 in our 2026 ranks; start him unless he's downgraded before kickoff.

Key numbers
  • Warren limited Friday with a groin issue
  • 30 catches, 213 yds, 2 TD in 2026 (5 games)
  • Our No. 6 TE, 70 PPR pts this season
  • Dulin (hamstring) and Carlies (ribs) ruled out
  • Downs and Jones carry no injury tag

Add Tyler Warren to the list of names fantasy managers need to babysit through Sunday morning. The Colts rookie tight end was limited in Friday's final practice of Week 6 with a groin injury and is now listed as questionable for the matchup against the Titans. For a position this thin, that's a headline you'd rather not read.

The good news: Warren has been one of the few genuinely reliable tight ends in fantasy this year. He's logged 30 catches for 213 yards and two scores through five games, plus a rushing touchdown for good measure — 70 PPR points on the season, enough to make him our No. 6 TE and the No. 72 player overall in our 2026 ranks. A groin that only earned a 'limited' tag on Friday isn't the kind of thing that usually knocks a player out, but it's worth watching.

The Rest of the Colts Report

Indianapolis isn't just dealing with Warren. Linebacker Jayden Carlies (ribs) and receiver Ashton Dulin (hamstring) both sat out the entire week and have already been ruled out. Dulin wasn't a fantasy asset to begin with — three catches for 29 yards across two games, a footnote at No. 388 overall — so that one's a non-event for your lineups.

Backup tight end Will Mallory (thumb) joins Warren in the questionable bucket, which matters only if Warren can't go. Mallory is unranked and has a single catch to his name across his 2025 action, so he's a last-resort streamer at best. The cleaner news is that receiver Josh Downs (hamstring) and the quarterback Jones (ankle) both avoided injury designations entirely and are good to go.

The Fantasy Call

Downs stays firmly in play — he's our No. 50 receiver with 20 grabs for 249 yards and 45 PPR points through five games, and with Dulin out there's a sliver more volume to go around. Keep starting him.

On Warren, don't panic yet. A limited Friday practice with a questionable tag almost always points toward active, and when a TE6 is in your lineup you don't bench him on a maybe. Start him with confidence, but have a backup plan warming up — if the Colts downgrade him to doubtful or he's a surprise inactive, pivot to the best available streamer. Keep one eye on the pregame reports.
