Only a limited-practice tag so far, but Jackson's ankle is the real red flag.

Key numbers
  • Flowers: 26 rec, 405 yds, 2 TD in 4 games
  • Added as limited Thursday with a toe injury
  • Also fought a hamstring issue during camp
  • Lamar Jackson (ankle) did not practice Thursday
  • Bateman (shoulder) downgraded to DNP

Add another name to Baltimore's growing injury list. Zay Flowers popped up on Thursday's practice report as a limited participant with a toe issue, a new wrinkle for a receiver who already battled a hamstring problem back in training camp and into the early season. He's been the Ravens' most reliable pass-catcher regardless, piling up 26 receptions for 405 yards and two touchdowns across four games this year.

The toe tag alone isn't cause for panic — limited is a long way from doubtful — but the bigger concern sits a few lines up the report. Quarterback Lamar Jackson officially did not practice Thursday with an ankle injury, and no fantasy value flowing through Flowers matters as much as who's throwing him the ball.

Who Else Is Banged Up

Baltimore downgraded three players from limited to DNP: receiver Rashod Bateman (shoulder), guard John Simpson (groin), and defensive tackle Broderick Washington (ankle). Bateman's absence actually tilts target share back toward Flowers if he suits up, so it cuts both ways for the offense.

There was good news elsewhere. Marlon Humphrey, Roger Rosengarten, Ronnie Stanley, and tight end Nick Vannett were all upgraded to full. Mark Andrews (hand), Kyle Hamilton (stinger), and Trey Hendrickson (finger) stayed full as well — Andrews has quietly logged 22 catches for 177 yards and a touchdown through five games (44 PPR points, 2026 season), good for our No. 21 at the position.

The Fantasy Fallout

For Flowers managers, this is a monitor-the-wire situation, not a bench-him-yet one. A single limited session with a toe issue rarely sidelines a team's WR1, and with Bateman trending toward a DNP, the volume case for Flowers only strengthens. Watch Friday's report — if the toe holds at limited or climbs to full, he's a locked-in start.

The real swing factor is Jackson. If No. 8's ankle forces a backup under center, every Ravens pass-catcher takes a hit, Flowers included. Keep him in your lineup for now, but track both reports through the weekend before setting anything in stone.
