A.J. Brown, TreVeyon Henderson Land on Patriots' Questionable List for Jets
Brown (ankle) still needs a 53-man roster move to suit up Sunday, while Henderson and Campbell carry knee and ankle tags into Week 6.

No roster activation yet and conditioning in question — don't trust Week 6.
- Brown must be activated to the 53-man roster to play
- Henderson (ankle) limited all week in practice
- Will Campbell (knee) also questionable vs Jets
- Davis (neck) and Prunty (hamstring) ruled out
- Drake Maye off injury report, expected to play
New England heads into Sunday's matchup with the Jets dragging a long injury report, and three names stand out for fantasy purposes: A.J. Brown (ankle), TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) and left tackle Will Campbell (knee) are all officially questionable for Week 6. Brown's situation comes with an extra wrinkle — he isn't on the 53-man roster yet, so the Patriots would need to activate him before he could even take the field.
Head coach Mike Vrabel said the team won't decide on Brown until Saturday, wanting to see how he responds to Friday's practice and gauge his conditioning. That's not the language of a guy who's a lock to play. Brown ranks #47 overall and #11 among wideouts in our model, but he's only logged one game this year (2026 season): 3 catches, 26 yards, 6 PPR points. There's barely a sample to lean on.
Henderson and Campbell were both limited participants all week, and Vrabel offered the same wait-and-see line — he'll evaluate how they look when they arrive Sunday. Campbell matters indirectly: he protects the quarterback's blind side. Henderson matters directly to anyone rostering him.
What It Means for the Backfield
Henderson sits at RB21 (#60 overall) in our rankings with a modest line through four games this season (2026): 163 rushing yards, a touchdown and 2 catches for 22 yards, good for 27 PPR points. A limited week on a bad ankle isn't the setup you want from a rotational back who hasn't locked down a workhorse role to begin with. If he plays through it, snap volume is the real question.
The bright spot is the quarterback. Drake Maye is off the injury report entirely after the right-shoulder scare and is expected to start. He's our QB7 (#21 overall), throwing for 1,228 yards with 8 touchdowns and zero interceptions through five games this season (2026) and adding 161 rushing yards for 103 PPR points. His recent form is slightly down — about 2.8 fantasy points below his season average over the last five — but he's streamer-plus every week, and that's unchanged here.
The Fantasy Call
Treat Brown as a game-time decision you can't count on — until the Patriots actually activate him, he's a sit in Week 6, and you need a backup plan at wideout. Henderson is the same wait-and-see story: hold him, but have a bench flex ready in case he's inactive or capped. Maye, meanwhile, stays in your lineup without a second thought.
