Cowboys-Packers Shootout: Why CeeDee Lamb and Watson Headline Week 6
A no-Parsons Packers defense meets a wounded Dallas secondary. Lamb's 113 PPR points and Watson's 6 TDs set up a prime-time track meet.

Prime-time smash spot vs. a mid Packers pass D with no Parsons.
- Lamb: 39 rec, 507 yds, 4 TD, 113 PPR pts (2026, 5 gms)
- Watson: 26 rec, 474 yds, 6 TD, 109 PPR pts (2026)
- Williams: 276 rush yds, 7 total TD (2026, 5 gms)
- Prescott: 1,381 pass yds, 9 TD, 3 INT (2026)
- Packers defense without Micah Parsons on Sunday night
Sunday night gives us a game script fantasy managers dream about: two defenses that can't get off the field and a pair of offenses happy to trade punches. The Packers come in without Micah Parsons, and that single absence turns a feared front into a pedestrian one — right as they face Dak Prescott, who's already pushing 1,381 passing yards and nine touchdowns through five games this season (2026, actual).
Dallas got embarrassed by Tampa Bay in Week 5, which is exactly why this profiles as a bounce-back spot. The Cowboys can't stop anyone either, so the over feels baked in. For roster purposes, that volume ceiling is the whole story — nearly everyone in this game gets a boost.
Watson and Golden Lead the Green Bay Side
Christian Watson has quietly become one of the best receivers in football, sitting at WR6 in our rankings on the back of 26 catches, 474 yards and six touchdowns (2026, actual — 109 PPR points). A friendly Dallas secondary and a quarterback willing to let it fly make him a slam-dunk WR1 play this week, with 100 receiving yards very much in range. The attention Watson draws has also opened things up for Matthew Golden, a red-zone and deep-threat option worth a dart throw in deeper formats.
The Dallas Backfield and CeeDee's Prime-Time Spot
Javonte Williams is the forgotten man here, but he shouldn't be. He's logged 276 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns across five games (2026, actual — 96 PPR points, RB9 in our rankings), and Dallas would love nothing more than to lean on him near the goal line against a thinner Packers front. Expect plenty of carries, plus checkdown work in a high-tempo game.
Then there's CeeDee Lamb, our WR5 with 113 PPR points on 39 grabs, 507 yards and four scores (2026, actual). We saw George Pickens eat in the last prime-time outing; this one sets up for Lamb to return the favor. A chalky touchdown prop at plus money tells you where the market sits, and it's hard to argue.
The verdict: fire up every Dallas skill player you own, with Lamb a locked-in WR1 start and Watson right there with him on the other side. Williams is a strong RB2 given his touchdown equity, and if you're streaming, Matthew Golden is a sneaky ceiling play in a game that should stay wide open all night.
