The numbers back him up. Green Bay ran the ball nine times for 17 yards, Jordan Love averaged a feeble 5.8 yards per attempt, and the whole unit scraped together 194 yards before some garbage-time window dressing. This isn't a one-off. The Packers are yielding pressure on 42.4% of Love's dropbacks — a rate that would've ranked 31st last season — and gaining just 0.92 yards before contact per rush, per Tru Media.
A Line That Can't Do Either Job
The offensive line is the root of it. Injuries to Zach Bako-Bewele and Aaron Banks forced Green Bay to shuffle a patchwork front: a career guard at center, a swing tackle at left tackle, and a fifth-round rookie playing guard. NFL Next Gen Stats charted 15 quick pressures on Thursday alone. You can't run an NFL offense behind that.
But LaFleur refused to pin it all on the line, and he's right. The Packers lead the league with nine drops — no one else has more than five — and Love has thrown two picks with four more dropped by defenders. When the play-caller, the quarterback and the receivers all share blame, that's a systemic problem, not a bad Thursday.

For Packers managers, the read is cautious. Love's a hold, not a start-with-confidence play — the protection isn't fixable overnight, and the run game is a non-factor while the line stays banged up. If you can buy Bijan Robinson from a nervous manager, do it; performances like this are the ceiling, and Green Bay's defense won't be his last soft matchup. Fade the Packers' skill players until the front five gets healthy.
