Nine TDs, zero picks and climbing — buy before the price jumps.

Key numbers
  • Purdy: 14 TD, 2 INT, 132 PPR pts in 6 games (2026)
  • Allen jumps to QB3, 169 PPR pts (2026 actual)
  • Stroud: 1,714 pass yds, 9 TD, 0 INT so far (2026)
  • Mahomes fell to QB17 after torn ACL
  • Allen trending down: -3.3 fantasy pts over last 5

Six weeks in, Brock Purdy is still the name at the top of the Week 7 quarterback power rankings. The 49ers passer has thrown 14 touchdowns against just two interceptions this season (2026), and his 132 PPR points sit him at QB4 in our rankings. He's not doing it with volume theatrics — he's doing it with efficiency, and that's enough to hold off a crowded field.

The bigger movement is below him. Josh Allen has climbed into the No. 3 slot overall, and in our rankings he's the clear QB1 with 169 PPR points through six games (2026 actual). The engine is his legs: 240 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns already. That rushing floor is why he leads every quarterback on our board even with the passing numbers staying modest at nine TDs.

The Mahomes Problem

Patrick Mahomes is the story nobody wanted. A torn ACL has pulled him out of the top three and, in our rankings, all the way down to QB17 at #44 overall. Before the injury he'd posted 100 PPR points across five games (2026) with nine touchdowns and no picks — perfectly fine production, now frozen in place. The rankings note he could theoretically climb back, but a torn ACL isn't a one-week absence.

The week's biggest riser is C.J. Stroud, who makes the largest leap on the board. His raw line is loud for the right reasons: 1,714 passing yards, nine touchdowns and zero interceptions through six games (2026). In our rankings he's QB9 at #23 overall, with 118 PPR points. The yardage is there; the touchdown rate just needs to catch up to the volume.

The Fantasy Fallout

If you rostered Mahomes, the window for a fair trade closed when the knee did — he's an IR stash now, not a start. Allen remains a locked-in weekly QB1, though note the small warning sign: he's averaging 3.3 fantasy points below his season mark over his last five games (2026), so don't panic-trade but temper the ceiling expectations.

The actionable move is Stroud. A top-10 quarterback throwing nine touchdowns with zero interceptions and 1,700-plus yards still carries a modest name-brand price in a lot of leagues. Buy low before the touchdown regression swings his way and the number next to his name stops looking like a bargain.
