Christian Watson

WR6 on our board gets a shredded Dallas secondary on SNF.

Key numbers
  • Cowboys D ranks 31st: 395.4 total yds allowed/game
  • Dallas allows NFL-worst 168.4 rush yds/game
  • Love: 367 yds, 2 TD on 25-of-31 in Week 5
  • Watson: 143 yds, 2 TD on 6 catches last week
  • Packers favored -1.5, O/U 53.5 at Lambeau

The Packers (3-2) host the Cowboys (2-3) on Sunday Night Football in Week 6, and the matchup math is almost too clean. Dallas brings the NFL's 31st-ranked defense into Lambeau — 395.4 total yards allowed per game, a last-place run defense surrendering 168.4 rushing yards a night, and a league-worst 52.6% third-down conversion rate against. Green Bay brings Jordan Love fresh off a 367-yard, two-touchdown demolition of the Bears.

Love completed 25 of 31 throws in that 31-7 Week 5 win, the most passing yards any Packers QB has ever posted against Chicago at Lambeau. He went deep early and often, hitting six of eight attempts of 20-plus air yards for a career-high 258 yards. Only Russell Wilson has topped that in a single game in the Next Gen Stats era — and he did it against these same Cowboys last season.

Watson And Golden Are The Reason To Care

The fantasy story here is Christian Watson, who caught six passes for 143 yards and two scores last week on throws of 42, 31 and 53 yards. He sits at WR6 on our board (#18 overall) with 109 PPR points through five games in 2026. Matthew Golden added 123 yards on his own six grabs, making them the first Packers duo with 120-plus receiving yards each since Adams and Nelson in 2016.

Now point that aerial show at a Dallas secondary that just let undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels and 241 Tampa Bay rushing yards walk all over them in a stunning home loss to the 0-4 Bucs. Jerry Jones has floated moving DC Christian Parker upstairs, and the team hired Mike Pettine as a senior assistant to patch the leaks. Parker insists the problems are effort and technique — fixable stuff. Fine. It's still not getting fixed by Sunday.

The Dallas Angle

Dak Prescott is the QB13 on our board (#34 overall) with 92 PPR points across five games this season, and he's quietly productive — 1,381 passing yards and nine touchdowns. The catch: Dallas has beaten the Packers exactly once since 2016, going 0-5-1 in the last six despite scoring 31 points a game over that span. The offense keeps showing up. The defense keeps giving it all back. In a game with a 53.5 total, Prescott should throw plenty, but you're starting him for volume in a potential shootout, not because the floor is safe.

Bottom line for fantasy managers: fire up Christian Watson with confidence — the deep-ball volume plus this matchup is a dream pairing, and he's a locked-in WR2 this week. Prescott is a fine high-ceiling QB1 play given the pace and the Vegas total. If Golden is on your bench, he's a sneaky flex too. Just don't overthink the Green Bay passing game against a defense this broken.
